Case Mix: Medium acuity, consistent with emergency medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: EPIC
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC as FNP through ANCC or AANP, or PA through NCCPA
Licenses: Active Mississippi license, DEA with CSPA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience as FNP or PA
Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation for past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
Perform emergency procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, splinting).
Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team.
Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR.
