EMR System: Meditech (80% paper, 20% EMR)
Specialty Backup Available: Hematology/Oncology specialists on site
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Biopsies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: RI Nurse Practitioner license, DEA, CSR
Board: Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
DEA: Required
Other Qualifications: DEA and CSR required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide outpatient and inpatient care for hematology/oncology patients.
Perform rounding daily for 1-2 hours based on consult volume.
Manage patient volume of 18-22 outpatients per day and inpatient consults.
Perform biopsies as needed.
Work collaboratively with on-site Hem/Onc specialists.
