Low Moor, Virginia Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Locum Tenens Opportunity
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioners for a locum tenens opportunity in an emergency department setting. This role offers a structured environment with consistent patient volume and collaborative clinical support.
Opportunity Highlights
Emergency Medicine locum tenens
Annual ED volume: 14,000
General hospital outpatient setting
Coverage: 1 PM to 9 PM shifts
EMR: Meditech
Active Virginia medical license required
Credentialing for emergency department privileges
Strong team support with 24 MD and 8 NPPA coverage daily
Schedule Details
Start: ASAP, ongoing
Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Coverage: Daily shifts, with flexibility to discuss further scheduling needs
Clinical Scope
Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency medical presentations
Management of acute medical and traumatic cases
Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital support teams
Disposition, transfer, and discharge coordination
Documentation and order entry within Meditech EMR
Requirements
Active Virginia medical license
DEA registration for Virginia
ACLS certification
CME and case logs from the past 2 years
Valid driver’s license, malpractice documentation, and all relevant diplomas and training records
