Locum Nurse Practitioner - Gynecology Surgery - Atlantic City, NJ
Join a leading medical facility in Atlantic City, NJ, for a dynamic locum opportunity providing expert gynecology surgical care. This position offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay packages, and the chance to work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment. Start your assignment as early as June 23, 2026, with ongoing support throughout the 6-month coverage period.
Location: Atlantic City, NJ (with coverage also at Pomona, NJ)

Shift: Days, Monday – Friday
Hours per Week: Full-time

Licensure/Certifications: Nurse Practitioner License, First Assist Certification (robotic gynecological surgeries)
Experience: At least several years of related practice, experienced in robotic gynecologic surgeries
Patient Demographic: Adult patients
Pay Package: Discussed upon application

Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other expenses covered when applicable
Provide first assist surgical coverage for robotic gynecological procedures
Support the surgical team in inpatient operating rooms at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and Pomona, NJ
Manage an average of 2-6 surgeries per day
Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
Assist with pre-op and post-op responsibilities as needed
Follow all facility protocols and documentation procedures in Cerner/Oracle EMR systems
Adhere to safety and compliance standards at Level 3 Trauma Center
Certified Nurse Practitioner (state license required) with First Assist certification (robotic surgeries)
Proven experience in gynecologic surgery, preferably with robotic procedures
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must have current BLS certification; ACLS as per facility standards not required to be submitted here
This assignment is at a prominent facility serving adult patients within an inpatient surgical setting. You will be supporting gynecology surgery teams during a 6-month locum engagement, ensuring continuity of care and surgical excellence in a busy, Level 3 Trauma hospital environment.
