Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Neurovascular
Job Details:
Provide coverage for 3 12-hour shifts per week on a locum basis until a permanent provider is hired
Shifts available are 7a-7p and 7p-7a; availability for night shifts is required
Respond to code strokes as part of the neurointerventional surgery team
Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients
100% inpatient/hospital-based practice setting
Patient population is adult and geriatric only
Document using EPIC EMR system
Board Certification through AANP is required
Active Virginia state license required
Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
Neurocritical care nursing experience required
Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required - no exceptions
Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days; temporary credentialing available
Travel reimbursements approved for airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
