Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity to support coverage due to multiple maternity leaves. This role offers flexible scheduling, diverse case exposure, and a collaborative team environment.
Position Details:
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule Options:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (5 days/week)
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
12-hour day or night shifts (must be able to cover OB overnight)
Call: 1 night per week required
Setting: Hospital + ASC
EMR: EPIC
Case Volume: Supervision of 3 rooms or solo cases
Practice Environment: 9 Anesthesiologists + 6 per diem providers
Support staff includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
15 Main ORs + 4 ASC
Trauma Level II facility
Adult, geriatric, and 16+ patient population
Procedures / Case Types: Required: Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopedic
Preferred:
Spinal anesthesia
Epidurals
Regional anesthesia
Obstetrical anesthesia
Local infiltration
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified - Required
Active NY License at submission - Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS - Required
COVID Vaccinated - Required (No exceptions)
Self-Query NPDB report (same month) - Required
