Overview
Excellent locum opportunity for an Anesthesiologist to join a hospital-based practice in Troy, NY. This is a full-time assignment starting December 2025 , covering an open slot with a steady case mix and CRNA supervision.
Practice Highlights
Hospital-based setting
Start Date: December 2025, ongoing full-time
Mix of own cases and CRNA supervision (daily variation)
MD:CRNA ratio 1:3-4
8 operating rooms
EMR: Epic
Case Mix: Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy
Patient Demographics: Primarily adults; limited pediatrics (dental/ophthalmology only)
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology - Required
Active New York Medical License - Required at time of submission
BLS, ACLS, PALS - Required
Clean malpractice and background preferred
Must accept $25k permanent conversion cap
Procedures Required
Spinal Anesthesia
Epidural Anesthesia
Regional Anesthesia
Schedule & Coverage
Full-time schedule (starting 12/2025)
Both direct cases & CRNA supervision required
