Physician Assistant | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Cliffton Springs, NY Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $110 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pre-Anesthesia Testing Physician Assistant Assignment Details Location: Clifton Springs, New York Provider Type: Physician Assistant Specialty: Pre-Anesthesia Testing / Surgery Practice Setting: Outpatient / Ambulatory Pre-Operative Clinic Start Date: September 21, 2026 or Sooner Assignment Length: 3-6 Months Coverage Type: Full-Time Locums Positions Needed: 1 No Call No Weekends Compensation: Hourly - $110/hr, Overtime - $140/hr, Holiday - $140/hr. Schedule Monday-Friday 8-Hour Shifts Hours: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM First Patient: 8:00 AM Last Patient: 3:00 PM Patient Volume Approximately 8-9 Patients Per Day Outpatient Pre-Operative Visits Patients Are Not Undergoing Surgery the Same Day Clinical Responsibilities Perform Pre-Operative Evaluations and Optimization for Upcoming Surgical Patients Review History and Physicals and Relevant Patient Information Perform Chart Reviews and Data Collection Review and Utilize Established Pre-Operative Optimization Protocols and Resources Identify Clinical Concerns and Make Appropriate Referrals as Needed Coordinate Care With the Surgery and Anesthesia Teams Prepare and Optimize Patients for Upcoming Surgical Procedures Surgical Specialties Orthopedics General Surgery Urology Procedures No Procedure-Based Skills Required EMR: Epic Experience Required Requirements Board Certified - Required New York License in Hand - Required Active BLS - Required AHA or RQI Certifications Required Appropriate APP Experience in a Pre-Operative / Pre-Anesthesia Setting Epic Experience - Required Residents and Fellows Cannot Be Accepted Submission Requirements Agency-Branded CV Required at Submission Work History Must Be Current No Unexplained Employment Gaps of 30 Days Physician Statement Required for Any Malpractice History, Including Dismissed Cases Candidate Email and Phone Number Must Be Included Credentialing Urgent Need Emergency Privileges Available614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
