Physician Assistant | Dermatology Location: Clifton Springs, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Description A full-time locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. This role offers a steady weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, supporting a high-volume outpatient dermatology practice. The provider will primarily work in Clifton Springs, with occasional coverage at an affiliated dermatology clinic within the regional health system. This position is well-suited for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing a diverse range of dermatologic conditions. About the facility This position is based within an acute care hospital that is part of a large, established regional healthcare system in upstate New York. The dermatology department is supported by a collaborative clinical team and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical record system. Travel expenses reimbursed, including: Mileage Rental car Hotel Flight Malpractice Covered Job Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive outpatient dermatology care Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of skin conditions Perform dermatologic procedures within scope of practice Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 25–35 patients Accurately document patient encounters using Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Provide coverage at a secondary dermatology location as needed Qualifications Board Certified Physician Assistant Active New York license (required at time of application) Minimum of 3 years of recent dermatology experience Recent Epic EMR experience required Current BLS certification Consistent work history with no gaps exceeding 30 days Working Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No call requirements Full-time locum assignment (approximately 26 weeks, July through January) Skills Strong dermatology clinical expertise Ability to manage a high-volume patient load efficiently Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems Excellent communication and patient care skills Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities Detail-oriented with accurate documentation practices614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
