Quick Facts Location: Sumter, SC Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: 7a-7p, 12-hour shifts Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off Hours/Week: 84 Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Active SC license required; Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; DEA license Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $166.92/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do Provide emergency medical care in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting Support staff including MDs, NPs, and PAs in a fast-paced ER environment Manage a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and trauma cases Perform assessments, treatments, and documentation using Epic EMR Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives What You Need Required: Active South Carolina State License Board Certification in Emergency Medicine 2 years of emergency medicine experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS DEA license Preferred: Experience in trauma or Level 1 trauma care About the Assignment Join a dedicated emergency department committed to providing high-quality care in a busy hospital environment.
