Physician Assistant | Emergency Medicine Location: Sumter, SC Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty State SC Location 129 N Washington St, Sumter, SC, Requirements Job ID : fixed Coverage Details: • Coverage needed per month: 7 on / 7 off 2 weeks per month 12hr shifts • Frequency of any Call needed: none • Schedule Details: approximately 7a-7p for 12hr shifts Work Details: • Support staff: MDs NPs PAs typical ER department • Department Description: emergency department • Patient Volume: 85 adults 10 peds 5 trauma • Patient Age Group: all • EMR/Documentation System: Epic • Special Equipment Used: level 1 trauma center emergency medicine equipment at all facilities Requirements: • Are Board Certifications Req’d?: Emergency Medicine BC required • Which State Licenses Req’d?: active SC required • Certifications Req’d?: BLS ACLS PALS • CSR Req’d?: TBD • DEA Req’d?: Yes • Minimum Experience Req’d of years: 2 years minimum experience • Are vaccines mandatory?: Flu MMR Varicella waivers are accepted • Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: clean backgrounds only if not clean then provider msust have 1st and 3rd party statements included with submission. Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 90-120 days with active SC license. Without active SC license 120 minimum recent experience has taken closer to 5 months for non-licensed providers to be granted privileges.
