About the Facility Location Alaska offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and recreational activities suited to varied interests. Cultural institutions in the region include museums dedicated to natural history and indigenous heritage, alongside performing arts venues and community gathering spaces. Outdoor attractions span state parks, ski areas, and opportunities for year-round recreation, providing a range of options during time away from assignment.
About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages at an on-site tribal health clinic, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during day shift hours. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions across all age groups, with an expected volume of 16 patients per month. After-hours call coverage is required by phone. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
