Specialty Backup Available: Emergency Department, Surgery, Overnight Hospitalist MD Team
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Respond to codes and rapid responses
Ventilator management (preferred)
Management of step-down level patients
Stabilization and transfer of critically ill patients
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: NCCPA Board Certified
Licenses: Active Vermont License (or eligibility to obtain)
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hospitalist inpatient adult medicine experience
Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; NPDB report required within 30 days of offer
Duties & Responsibilities
Respond to codes and rapid responses
Manage adult inpatient and observation patients
Provide care for step-down level patients
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team (ED, surgery, case management) for patient care and discharge
Stabilize critically ill patients and arrange transfer to tertiary care as needed
