Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Lebanon, PA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $850 per day Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Assignment Details Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania Provider Type: Physician Assistant Specialty: Cardiothoracic / Cardiac Surgery Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-Based Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Contract Length: Ongoing EMR: Epic Hospital Beds: 163 Compensation: Daily - $850 per 24 hours, Call Back - $265/hr. Schedule Weekend Call Coverage Friday 5:00 PM-Monday 7:00 AM Approximately 3 Weekends Per Month 24-Hour Call Coverage Average Call Back Including Rounding: Approximately 4 Hours Per Day Current Coverage Dates October 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM-October 26, 2026 at 7:00 AM October 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM-November 2, 2026 at 7:00 AM Patient Population Adults Age 18 Clinical Responsibilities Provide Inpatient Cardiac Surgery Coverage Provide Weekend Call Coverage Perform Inpatient Rounding Assist With Urgent Cardiac Surgery Cases Manage Patients Requiring Surgery Following Cardiac Catheterization Provide Postoperative Cardiac Surgery Care Manage Patients From ICU Through Discharge Collaborate With APP Support Staff Surgeon Available for Backup Following Consultation Required Procedures / Skills Vein Harvesting Cardiac Surgery Experience Urgent Cardiac Surgical Care Postoperative Cardiac Surgery Management Support Staff APP Support Surgeon Available for Backup Requirements Active Pennsylvania License - Required DEA - Required Minimum 3 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiothoracic / Cardiac Surgery - Required Acute Care Certification - Not Required Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days Temporary Privileges Available With a Clean File614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
