Physician Assistant | Surgery - General/Other Location: Springfield, OR Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty State OR Location 3377 Riverbend Dr Ste 340, Springfield, OR, 97477 Requirements Expected start date First day should always be reserved for orientation tasks ASAP Provider Type – APP Specialty Vascular Surgery FTE needed 1.0 Daily Shift Standard: 10-hour and/or 24-hour call shifts Expected duration of assignment: Approval is good for 6 months Reason for opening Gap coverage Schedule /Shift hours 10-hour call shifts OR this would be beeper Monday-Friday OR 24-hour call shifts Monday-Friday OR 24-hour weekend call We would like to have have a weekday 12-hour call rate with a 4 hour gratis beeper fee a weekday 24-hour rate with a 6 hour gratis and then a weekend 24-hour rate with a 4 hour gratis. Clinic hours are Although these are call shifts the APP needs to report at the beginning of their shift if it’s a 0700 start time to do a handoff rounding etc. 24hr Weekend Call4hrs Gratis 24hr weekday Call- 6hrs Gratis Daily-4hr Gratis Current gaps are night shifts for the below dates: October - 3 4 November - December - Type of privileges clinic/hospital/both Both Setting: Inpatient Outpatient or Both? Both If Inpatient of beds: 36 Call requirement 6 shifts a month Rounding admissions or none? Both Patient demographics Vascular/Endovascular Average patients per day 15-20 Required Procedures First assist in OR and assist with in clinic procedures Required clinical activity in the last 24 months case logs Applicant must provide documentation of provision of clinical services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. First Second or Third Assist in General Surgery and Surgical Sub-Specialties: Must provide documentation of training and competency. Case log of surgical cases for last 24 months is required along with documentation by surgeon noting whether assistance was as first second or third assist The NP privilege First Assist in Surgery: Must provide specific documentation of training and competency including type and number of procedures in the last two years as well as the name and contact information for the primary operator. Will provider work solo? No there will be a MD/DO they will be working with Licensed Candidate: We would prefer OR licensed in order to make those October and/or November dates but we are open to non-OR for later dates.
