Physician Assistant | Surgery - Neurosurgery Location: Greenville, SC Employer: CompHealth Pay: $90 to $119 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position CompHealth exists to make the locums process easier. Not only will we search for jobs that fit your interests, we'll be here to handle all the details like credentialing, housing, travel arrangements, and so much more. So, relax and get back to helping patients, and let us do the heavy lifting. Clinic hours: 9 am - 3:30 pm, Mon - Sun; rounds required prior to clinic 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend day call per week Avg 5 - 10 hospital patients per mid-level per day; 1 - 2 admissions 6 - 12 surgeries per day; 50% trauma, 50% hospital-based cases ICU patients included 100% adult population EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement required Suturing, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, and surgical care of complex wounds ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required We provide complimentary housing and travel We arrange and cover costs for licensing and malpractice We simplify the credentialing and privileging process Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) plan Your personal recruiter handles every detail, 24/7 Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
