Physician Assistant | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Buffalo, MN Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $120 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant Assignment Details Location: Buffalo, Minnesota Provider Type: Physician Assistant (PA) Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic Operating Room Start Date: April 1, 2027 Expected Duration: Approximately 6-8 Months Coverage Reason: Military Leave EMR: Epic Excellian Compensation Hourly: $120/hour Schedule Monday-Friday Typical Hours: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Operating Room Wednesday: Clinic Friday: Administrative Day Morning Rounding Required Occasional Weekend Rounding Call Coverage Optional Patient Population / Volume Orthopedic Patients Primarily Adolescent and Adult Patients No Age Restrictions Approximately 20-25 Patients Per Clinic Day Hospital Size: 34 Beds Clinical Responsibilities First Assist in the Operating Room Assist With Total Joint Replacements Assist With Fracture Repairs Assist With Foot and Ankle Procedures Assist With Shoulder Procedures Assist With Knee Procedures Assist With Hip Procedures Assist With Hand and Wrist Procedures Provide General Orthopedic Surgical Support Provide Orthopedic Clinic Coverage Perform Morning Rounds Perform Casting and Splinting Perform DME Application Perform Joint Injections Clinical Environment / Support Orthopedic Surgery and Clinic Setting 1 Clinical Support Staff Member on Clinic Days Epic Excellian EMR Requirements NCCPA-Certified Physician Assistant - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Orthopedic Surgery - Required Minimum 1 Year of Operating Room Experience - Required Prior Orthopedic or Sports Medicine Experience - Preferred Active Minnesota Physician Assistant License - Required Upon Hire Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Requirements Must Be Met Upon Hire Minnesota Licensure Candidates May Be Considered BLS - Required Within 180 Days DEA - Required Minnesota CSR - Required Epic Experience - Required614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
