Physician Assistant | Surgery - Plastic Location: Boston, MA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $105 per hour Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant Locum Opportunity - Massachusetts Seeking a Physician Assistant with 1-2 years of inpatient Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery experience for a hospital-based locum assignment. This is a patient management role with no first assist responsibilities. Compensation: Hourly: $105/hour, Overtime: $105/hour (1), Holiday: $145/hour (1.4). Schedule Start Date: September -week assignment 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week Monday-Friday schedule Typical shifts: Wednesday-Friday, with flexibility to cover Monday or Tuesday as needed Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute lunch) No nights No weekends No holidays No call Practice Setting Hospital Inpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Patient Population Adult patients Average daily census: 10 patients Responsibilities Perform history and physicals Enter and manage orders Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results Prescribe medications Perform appropriate bedside procedures Assess and manage therapeutic interventions Develop and implement plans of care Ongoing inpatient patient management Note: This is not a First Assist position. Outpatient-only Plastic Surgery experience will not be considered. EMR: Epic Requirements Required Physician Assistant Board Certified Active Massachusetts license BLS certification Epic experience 1-2 years of inpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery experience (required) Not Accepted Outpatient-only Plastic Surgery experience Candidates requiring Massachusetts licensure Credentialing Approximately 90 days Additional Information Hospital-based inpatient role No First Assist or operative procedures Patient care and medical management focus Name clear requires provider name and NPI Travel package available614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
