Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterology in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:20 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: 13 Weeks Assignment
Position Details:
Acute Care Hospital setting
No call required
9-hour shifts
Consistent weekday schedule
Visa sponsorship not available
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal conditions
Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentationRequired Procedures:
Endoscopic procedures based on facility scope and credentialing requirements
On-Call/Weekends: No call
Requirements:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology through ABIM or AOA - Required
Active and Unrestricted Wisconsin Medical License - Required
Gastroenterology experience in a hospital or clinical setting - Required
