Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit
Reason for Coverage: Coverage while we recruit---Retirement
Dates of Coverage: ASAP-6 months with opportunity to extend
Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating)
Call Ratio: approx 1:8
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %?:
Hem--60%
Onc--40%
IM--0%
Number of Physicians in Practice: 7
Documentation System/EMR: Epic Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse oncologist
Required Procedures:
Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board
Orders Tests
Orders Images
Prescribes
Submission Requirements Board Certified/ Board Eligible - Required
BC Oncologist - Preferred
Active CT license - Required
