Locum Hematology & Oncology Physician - Pontiac, MI

Duration: Coverage for approximately 3 months (exact end date TBD)
Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours/Week: 24 hours
Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
License/Certifications: MD/DO, State Medical License Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Hematology/Oncology outpatient care

What You'll Do Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care at a satellite clinic
Manage 15-20 patients daily in a busy clinic setting
Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions
Collaborate with a team of oncology RNs, medical assistants, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
Support infusion center and onsite diagnostic services
Cover clinic call as needed
What You Need Active medical license in Michigan
Minimum 2 years of outpatient Hematology/Oncology experience
Proficiency in hematology/oncology outpatient procedures and patient management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
