Description:
We are looking for a Client Fetal Medicine locum physician to join our team.
Coverage is needed beginning January 1, 2027, with full-time coverage required through approximately January 24, 2027.
After January, anticipated recurring part-time coverage is approximately twice monthly.
The position primarily involves rounding on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients with residents.
Inpatient consults and phone consultations will be conducted as needed.
The physician will supervise residents in a high-risk OB clinic and interpret/manage ultrasound services and related consults.
The physician is expected to perform the following required procedures:
Amniocentesis
Cerclage, including rescue cerclage
External cephalic version (ECV)
Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) is preferred but not required.
Nightly call coverage during weekdays and 24-hour call coverage during weekends is required.
In-house weekday coverage across outpatient ultrasound and inpatient consult needs is expected.
Call back is very minimal.
Candidates interested in locum-to-perm options are welcome, with preference given to those candidates.
Please note that no delivery coverage, GYN surgery, or GYN call coverage is expected.
The estimated credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days.
Candidates should flag any malpractice or background items for internal review on a case-by-case basis.
