Quick Facts Location: Eureka, CA Start Date: 09/25/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing, approximately 1-2 weeks/month Shift: Night and weekend coverage, 8-12 hours shifts Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule Employment Type: Locum, Travel Assignments License/Certs: Active California license, DEA required, Board Certification or BE Experience: Prior anesthesiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (to be filled out on bid, in addition to possible increased rates for selected shifts) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do Provide inpatient anesthesiology services during scheduled clinic and call shifts Cover weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities Manage anesthesia for various inpatient procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Respond to acute needs during night and weekend shifts Collaborate with healthcare team members and follow internal protocols Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient interactions What You Need Required: Active California license and DEA registration Board Certification (BC) or truly BE in anesthesiology Current CV uploaded for credentialing Willingness to work nights, weekends, and be on call Preferred: Prior experience in anesthesiology, especially in inpatient settings Ability to handle diverse patient scenarios and collaborate effectively About the Assignment Join a dedicated team providing anesthesia care in a reputable facility in Eureka, CA.
