Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address staffing needs from December 1 through March 31. Clinicians on assignment may attend Division I collegiate sports at the JMA Wireless Dome, explore the Erie Canal Museum and its exhibits, or walk the 36-mile restored towpath along the Old Erie Canal State Historic Park. Additional options include WonderWorks, home to the tallest indoor ropes course in the United States at 70 feet, and the Everson Museum of Art, which houses a collection focused on American art. Outdoor pursuits such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, and bicycling are available alongside lakeside parks and state parks including Watkins Glen and Taughannock Falls. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at an operating room facility in Syracuse, NY, working Monday through Friday on 5x8 shifts totaling 40 hours per week. The surgical caseload consists of approximately 75% pediatric and 25% adult patients. No call, evening, night, or weekend coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
