Job Details Position: Cardiology Physician - Locum Tenens Specialty: Inpatient Cardiology / Hospital Medicine Support Setting: On-site hospital service Location: La Crosse, WI 54601 Start Date: 09/28/2026 End Date: 07/31/2027 Duration: Approximately 44 weeks Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM hospital service with on-call coverage from 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM Weekly Estimated Pay: $10,330 - $11,070 Job Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible cardiology physician with relevant clinical experience Minimum of 1 year of inpatient or hospital-based cardiology experience required Ability to provide inpatient cardiology care and participate in call coverage Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams Comfortable managing hospital-based cardiology services in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Provide daily cardiology hospital service during scheduled daytime hours Respond to on-call needs overnight as assigned Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to support high-quality patient outcomes Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately Deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a supportive hospital environment Apply now for this Wisconsin cardiology physician job and join a respected healthcare team in La Crosse!
