Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Ketchikan, AK Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $300 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cardiologist Assignment Details Location: Ketchikan, Alaska Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Cardiology Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic Coverage Type: Scheduled Start Date: October 1, 2026 Expected Duration: 6 Months Coverage Need: 0.25 FTE Reason for Coverage: Gap in Coverage EMR: Epic Critical Access Setting Trauma Level: Adult IV No Call Compensation: $300/hr Schedule Monday-Friday Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 8-Hour Day Shifts Approximately 4-5 Days Per Month No Call Patient Population / Volume Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics Approximately 14-16 Patients Per Day Clinical Responsibilities Provide Outpatient Cardiology Clinic Coverage Evaluate and Manage Adult and Geriatric Cardiology Patients No Rounding No Admissions No Procedures Required Provider Will Work Independently Clinical Support No Other Cardiologist Available Onsite Family Medicine Support OB/GYN Support Pediatrics Support Orthopedics Support General Surgery Support Emergency Department Support Hospitalist Support Requirements Active Alaska Medical License in Hand at Time of Presentation - Required Candidates Requiring Alaska Licensure Will Not Be Accepted BLS - Required BLS Must Be From the American Heart Association or American Red Cross as Applicable Epic Proficiency - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiology - Required Must Be Comfortable Working Independently COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, No Exemptions Recent Clinical Activity Requirements Clinical Activity Documentation From the Previous 24 Months - Required Must Provide Documentation of Cardiovascular Disease Services Representative of the Scope and Complexity of Requested Privileges Clinical Activity Requirement May Be Waived for Applicants Who Completed Training Within the Previous Year614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
