Join a high-acuity cardiovascular team with experienced support resources, manageable patient volume, and easy access to the Wasatch Front. Job Details Employment Type: Locum tenens physician job Specialty: Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage Contract Length: 2 weeks Start Date: March 28, 2026 End Date: April 11, 2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,160 - $7,290 Schedule: Call coverage only for specific dates; 24-hour call coverage Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Setting: Level II trauma center Location: Ogden, Utah 84405 License Requirement: Utah medical license and Utah DEA required upon presentation Job Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible physician Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience required Experience with cardiovascular surgery coverage and thoracic surgery coverage Ability to work independently without NP assistance Comfort managing physician call coverage for cardiac and thoracic cases Meditech EMR familiarity preferred Utah license and Utah DEA in hand at time of presentation Responsibilities Provide locum tenens call coverage for designated dates only Manage cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases as needed Handle consults, rounding, and perioperative support during call periods Work independently while collaborating with the available support team Support a service that sees approximately 10–12 patients per week Contribute to care involving cardiac surgery and thoracic procedures Coordinate with hospital resources to ensure smooth patient coverage and continuity of care Apply now to explore this Utah locum tenens physician opportunity in Ogden and join a respected cardiovascular care team.
