Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Murrells Inlet, SC Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital-AP-Physician-0024 State SC Location 4070 Hwy 17 Murrells Inlet South Carolina 29576 Requirements Update as of 9.24.26: General Cardiologist needed for Nov start ongoing . MUST INCLUDE MUSC SUBMISSION CHECKLIST MUSC-Waccamaw and Georgetown: General Cardiology locum tenens - primary onsite Waccamaw Coverage: 7 days per month covering 7am Monday to 7am Monday MUSC –Waccamaw Provider will see General Cardiology consults and round on any inpatients. Provider will need to perform TEE, Cardioversions and supervise Stress Test. Cardiologist will also take call during the seven-day coverage period. Average number is overall inpatients: 90-100 MUSC – Georgetown the same provider will also be on night & weekend call from 5pm to 7am daily And weekends are 5pm Friday to 7am Monday during seven-day coverage period. Census is around 55-60 per day very rare to have an inpatient in Georgetown. Stemi patients are admitted by the Interventional Cardiologist.
