Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Walla Walla, WA Employer: VISTA Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 11/30/2026 About the Position Are you a Cardiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Washington might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Monday-Friday clinic days (8-hour days, 7a-5p), plus weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call; on call 2 weeks per month (1 week Monday-Sunday, 2nd week Monday-Friday); long-term, full-time assignment beginning November 2026 Job Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient Types of Cases: General Cardiology; Outpatient Cardiology, Inpatient Cardiology (including ICU), Non-invasive (Echocardiography, TEE, Nuclear Cardiology); Invasive Cardiology - Diagnostic preferred (PA catheter placement, IABP placement, Cardiac catheterization); Interventional Cardiology preferred (Angioplasty/PTCA, Intracoronary stent placement, Atherectomy); Electrophysiology preferred (Cardiac ablation, Permanent pacemaker placement, ICD/AICD); approximately 15 patients per shift; call response time within 20 minutes Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days; temporary privileges available; DEA required; EMR: Epic Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; Fellowship required Certifications: ACLS required; BLS required Licensure: Active Washington State license or IMLC About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
