About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardio - Interventional MD in California!
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for an 84-day assignment in California, starting Sep 14, 2026. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage, managing general cardiology and STEMI cases, performing a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, and conducting cardiac diagnostic tests. Our client requires a dedicated physician to ensure comprehensive cardiac care.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour general cardiology hospital call and STEMI call coverage.
Consult and treat all STEMI patients.
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including the placement of intra-aortic balloon pump and Impella.
Conduct cardiac diagnostics, including echo, TEE, stress, and nuclear testing.

Required Board Certifications: Interventional Cardiology
EMR: Epic
Call Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Requirements: Must have recent Epic experience
