Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Ephrata, PA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $290 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Emergency Medicine Physician Assignment Details Location: Ephrata, Pennsylvania Provider Type: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Practice Setting: Emergency Department / Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: PRN Scheduled Coverage Start Date: November 15, 2026 Expected Duration: Approximately 13 Weeks Number of Positions: 2 Coverage Need: PRN Coverage to Fill Schedule Gaps Emergency Department Beds: 29, Including 6 Dedicated Behavioral Health Beds Compensation Hourly Rate: $290/hour Schedule PRN Coverage Based on Scheduling Needs Day and Night Shifts Shift Options: 6:30 AM-4:00 PM 11:00 AM-9:00 PM 4:00 PM-1:00 AM 9:00 PM-7:00 AM Patient Population / Volume Patient Population: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics Approximately 32,000 to Over 58,000 Emergency Department Patients Per Year Clinical Responsibilities Provide Emergency Medicine Physician Coverage Evaluate and Manage Emergency Department Patients Across All Age Groups Provide Emergency Medical Care Within a Hospital-Based Emergency Department Clinical Support 2 Full-Time APPs 3 PRN APPs APP Coverage Typically 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Additional APP Coverage May Be Added From 12:00 PM-10:00 PM Based on Volume Requirements Board Certified OR Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Through ABEM - Required Pennsylvania Medical License - Required IMLC Accepted Candidates Requiring Licensure Will Not Be Accepted DEA - Required BLS - Required Minimum of 1 Year of Emergency Medicine Experience - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Emergency Medicine - Required Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 Days614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
