Facility Highlights: 158 beds, approximately 119 daily billable encounters, and about 22.4 daily admissions
Job Requirements
Valid physician credentials with the ability to obtain hospital privileges
Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician preferred
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with 3 years of emergency department experience will be considered
Clean file preferred for emergency privileges consideration
Experience with standard emergency medicine procedures and acute care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
1+ year of clinical experience preferred if not otherwise met through specialty-specific background
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency care for a broad range of standard ED cases
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
Perform standard emergency medicine procedures as needed
Work collaboratively with nurses, techs, APPs, and other on-shift physicians
Support patient flow in a busy emergency department with consistent daily volume
Participate in rotational coverage and maintain smooth transitions during shift handoffs
Deliver safe, efficient care in a welcoming Dickson, Tennessee community setting
