Emergency Medicine Physician Job Requirements
At least 1 year of physician experience in emergency medicine
Valid, unrestricted physician license appropriate for practice in Texas
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, as applicable
Current certifications required for emergency department practice
Ability to provide specific availability beginning as early as November 1, 2026
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered emergency care
Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department
Provide timely care across a broad range of acute and urgent medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic studies and develop appropriate treatment plans
Perform procedures within the physician's scope of practice and clinical privileges
Coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, and follow-up care as clinically indicated
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with nursing, specialty, and support teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
