Shifts : 1-2 clinical ED shifts and 1 administrative day per week
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or emergency department clinical practice
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
Proven ability to drive operational improvement and ED throughput initiatives
Strong leadership, team collaboration, and communication skills
Current, unrestricted medical license (able to practice in Kentucky)
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical care during emergency department (ED) shifts as an emergency medicine physician
Lead and participate in administrative initiatives focused on improving ED front‑end processes, triage, and patient throughput
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, case management, hospital leadership) to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Mentor and support ED staff in best practices, clinical workflows, and process improvements
Contribute to a positive, productive, and patient‑centered work environment
