About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Apopka, Florida, 32712!
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 48-day assignment in Florida. Our client is looking for a dedicated physician to work 12-hour shifts, including both day and night rotations. You will provide critical emergency medicine services in a new freestanding emergency department, handling a projected high volume of patient visits and ensuring seamless care for those requiring inpatient admission to the main hospital.Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care to patients
Manage a diverse range of emergency cases in a freestanding emergency department
Utilize diagnostic imaging including CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray
Facilitate seamless patient handoffs to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists for inpatient admissions
Work effectively within an environment integrated with a Level II Trauma Center
Additional Information Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine
Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
Call Schedule: No Call
LOA: 48 Days
