Providers will practice in a Level II Trauma Center with dedicated APP support and Epic EMR. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programCompletion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency (3 years)ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates Clinical Experience New graduates acceptedEmergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months are eligible Licensure Active, unrestricted Tennessee Medical LicenseActive DEA registration with Tennessee addressAbility to obtain and maintain all required hospital privileges Board Certification Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified through one of the following: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)American Osteopathic Association (AOA)Required CertificationsACLSATLSPALS (if not ABEM Board Certified)NRP required for non-ABEM providersCredentialing RequirementsMMR and Varicella immunization records or immunity titersTwo-Step TB Test completed within the previous 12 monthsChest X-ray required if TB screening is positiveQuantiFERON Gold testing accepted per facility requirementsCase logs covering the previous two yearsDocumentation of specialized procedural training, if applicablePreeclampsia-Eclampsia CME completion upon initial application and every two years thereafterMalpractice Coverage$1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregateSeparate limits per providerAdditional RequirementsMust serve as supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician AssistantsMust meet all Bristol Regional Medical Center credentialing and privileging requirementsMust CC at: Bristol Regional EM, Johnson City EM, Holston Valley EM.
