Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity supporting a hospital campus and affiliated freestanding emergency departments in Casselberry, Florida. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency services across multiple settings, utilizing laboratory and imaging resources, and managing trauma patients within a dynamic clinical environment.
Opportunity Highlights
Location: Casselberry, Florida
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Setting: Hospital campus and affiliated FSEDs
Coverage: Ongoing, flexibility required for day, night, and weekend shifts
Schedule Details
Flexible scheduling across shifts, with main hospital shifts potentially less than 12 hours and FSED shifts requiring 12 hours. Providers should be available to work at both hospital and FSED locations.
Clinical Scope
Delivery of comprehensive emergency care
Use of laboratory and imaging resources
Management of trauma and emergency patient populations
Performing procedures within emergency medicine scope
Documentation within hospital EMR systems
Practice Environment
This role involves work at a hospital campus paired with affiliated freestanding emergency departments offering 24/7 comprehensive emergency services, including laboratory and imaging support. The environment supports efficient workflows with all necessary infrastructure confirmed.
Requirements
MD degree
Active Florida medical license
BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM), or BC in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine with 3+ years and 6,000+ hours of direct EM experience
ACLS and PALS certifications
ATLS recommended (not mandatory)
