PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 90-120 patients per day across multiple sites
Case Mix: Consistent with Emergency Medicine procedures
FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 31 beds (Downtown), 20 beds (NE), 15 beds (Kershaw)
EMR System: EPIC
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina license required
Certification: BC/BE
Experience: Epic (Required) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency medicine coverage at multiple MUSC Health locations in the Midlands region (Columbia Downtown, Columbia NE, Kershaw).
Float between locations as needed to meet scheduling needs, without working two locations on the same day.
Work night shifts from 7p to 7a, Wednesday through Sunday.
Manage patient care across varying volumes and bed capacities (31, 20, and 15 beds).
Collaborate with existing team to backfill FTE vacancy and ensure continuity of care.
