Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Conway, AR Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Conway, Arkansas Coverage Period: Sep 16, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon–Thu: 6a-3p, 12p-9p, 3p-12a, 9p-6a; Fri–Sun: 6a-6p, 12p-12a, 6p-6a Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 91 patients per day Case Mix: General ED patient population with 20.1% admission rate and 16.9% EMS arrival Rounding: Not Included Phone Consults: Yes FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 20 ED beds Trauma Level: Level III EMR System: Meditech Specialty Backup Available: Yes Support Staff Available: RNs, NPPAs, and support staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 120 days Temporary Privileges Available: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) Licenses: Active AR Medical License, Active DEA with AR address DEA / CDS: Active DEA required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required Other Qualifications: Must commit to at least 3 shifts per month; ABPS not accepted DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a Level III trauma center Manage high-acuity patients including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and suturing Collaborate with nursing staff and specialty backup for patient management Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EMR614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
