Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Crown Point, IN Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Crown Point, Indiana Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Indiana licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-performing community hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. This position offers a stable environment with supportive staffing, efficient workflows, and a focus on delivering high-quality emergency care in a collaborative setting. Opportunity Highlights Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity Approximate annual ED volume: 33,000 visits Facility: Community hospital with a focus on patient-centered care Coverage: 38 hours/day MD/DO, 18 hours/day NP/PA Mix of days, nights,, and weekends available EMR: Not specified Stable staffing model designed for efficiency and provider support Moderate-to-high acuity emergency department Schedule Details Shifts: Mix of days, nights, and weekends (specific scheduling to be discussed during presentation) Coverage hours: As outlined above Clinical Scope Evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of emergency patients Management of moderate-to-high acuity presentations Collaboration with APPs, nursing staff, and specialty consultants Documentation and order entry within the hospital’s EMR system Procedures include moderate sedation and other emergency care protocols Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a community hospital emergency department in Crown Point, Indiana. The department handles approximately 33,000 annual visits with physician and APP coverage. Providers will utilize their clinical expertise to manage the full spectrum of emergency medical cases in a stable, team-oriented environment.
