About the Position Our client in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a 10-day assignment. This role involves 24 or 48-hour shifts, including covering the inpatient unit from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The physician will manage 12-15 emergency room patients daily, encompassing urgent care cases and traumas, in addition to rounding on 3-5 inpatient unit patients during their shift. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive care for 12-15 patients per day in the Emergency Room, handling a mix of urgent care cases and trauma patients. Cover the inpatient unit, managing 3-5 patients per day during the 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM shift. Additional Information
Board Certifications: Family Medicine Required Certifications: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) EMR: Epic Setting: Emergency Room and Inpatient rounding Shift Schedule: 24 or 48-hour shifts, primarily 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM Patients per day: Approximately 15 in the ER, plus 3-5 on inpatient rounds LOA: 10 Days Staffing Mix: Collaborates with RNs Benefits
