Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Fort Myers, FL Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fort Myers, Florida Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 – Jun 30, 2027 Shift Schedule: 12p – 10p, 1p – 11p Hours Per Shift: 10 Shifts Per Week: 7 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Case Mix: High acuity, trauma, adult and pediatric patients FACILITY INFORMATION Support Staff Available: APPs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required Licenses: Active Florida medical license required Certifications: ATLS required Other Qualifications: Up-to-date CV, Lee Attestation form, clear NPBD DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization and disposition of adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department. Work 10-hour shifts, with schedules covering 12p‑10p and 1p‑11p, preferably 7 on 7 off. Complete all patient care duties within shift; no call or overtime required.
