Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Johnson City, TN Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Johnson City, Tennessee Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Emergency Department Coverage • Defined Shift Model • Trauma-Capable Setting • Epic EMR Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Tennessee-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Johnson City, Tennessee. This hospital-based Emergency Medicine role provides full-spectrum emergency care with emergency procedures and trauma coverage, supported by Advanced Practice Provider coverage and Epic EMR documentation. Opportunity Details Location: Johnson City, Tennessee Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Coverage: Ongoing Annual Volume: 22k Hospital Beds: 80 beds Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department Coverage Model: 24-hour physician coverage with 22-hour Advanced Practice Provider coverage EMR: Epic Clinical Scope Provide Emergency Medicine evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition Manage emergency procedures and trauma care in a hospital setting Coordinate emergency care across multi-site operational needs as required Document care using Epic EMR Requirements Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license DEA registration with a Tennessee address Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABOS, or AAO) ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine) NRP for non-ABEM providers Supervising physician license (required for supervising Advanced Practice Providers) Why Physicians Move on This Ongoing Emergency Department coverage with a defined physician/APP coverage model Hospital-based Emergency Medicine role with trauma-capable care and Epic EMR documentation Opportunity to support Advanced Practice Provider coverage as a supervising physician Why Providers Choose Rhino Medical Weekly direct deposit Triple A-rated malpractice coverage Concierge recruiter communication Transparent process from presentation through placement Long-term relationship focus Apply with your updated CV to secure upcoming coverage dates.
