PATIENT INFORMATION
Annual Volume: 14,500
Patients Per Day: Approximately 40
Admission Rate: 5.5%
EMS Volume: 4%
Case Mix: Freestanding Emergency Medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
ED Beds: 11
EMR: Epic
Trauma Designation: None
Backup: Telepsychiatry, Telehospitalist, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Longview
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Credentialing: 60-90 Days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Rate: TBD
Travel/Lodging/Malpractice: Covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Independent Emergency Department Coverage
Emergency Stabilization
Emergency Medicine Procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Texas License
ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM (2+ years ED experience for ABFM)
EM or FM Residency
BLS Required
ATLS/ACLS per Board Status
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and treat emergency patients
Document in Epic
Coordinate transfers and consultations
Work independently in a freestanding ED
