About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Lecanto, Florida, 34461!
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day assignment in Florida. The client is looking for a dedicated professional to manage diverse emergency cases across 12-hour shifts, with availability for both day and night rotations. This role involves providing high-quality care in a recently renovated emergency department that sees approximately 45,000 patient visits annually, handling a large adult and senior volume with high acuity patients.Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a variety of emergency medicine cases.
Provide care in a 28-bed emergency department, which includes bariatric and private rooms.
Address a large volume of adult and senior patients, many presenting with high acuity conditions, with support from a hospitalist team.
Participate in the Stroke Center activities, with ongoing implementation of tele-neurology.
Operate as an independent contractor.

Setting: Outpatient
LOA: 36 Days
Staffing Mix: 36 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APP coverage, supported by a friendly and supportive nursing staff.
