This opportunity begins on Feb 16, 2026, and spans a 48-day contract. The schedule and shift hours are to be determined. The role focuses on providing high-quality emergency care in a dynamic clinical environment, with responsibilities aligned to emergency medicine best practices. Job Details Location: Florida Start Date: Feb 16, 2026 LOA: 48 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: To be determined Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergency cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and care coordination Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements Additional Information Active Florida medical license required Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) is mandatory Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience with Meditech EHR preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
