Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ Requirements Phoenix Children's is looking for experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team in Phoenix! The Phoenix Children's Hospital - Thomas Campus features a 24/7 pediatric emergency department rather than a standalone walk-in urgent care at that specific address. Please note: PEM could work at any of our 4 ED sites generally we try to keep them geographically to 2 or 3 sites only Dates of Coverage: 4/1/2027-6/30/2028 Schedule: PEM shifts are 8-hour shifts and include days evenings nights Reason for Coverage: Satellite Hospital Expansion Practice Setting: Outpatient/Hospital-Based Patient Population: 100 PediatricAverage Patients: Thomas ED sees 75k visit/year Arrowhead ED sees 30K visits/year Avondale ED sees 55K visits/year Mercy/Gilbert is a new site that is expected to see 20K in the first year.Trauma/Facility Designation: Thomas ED is the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the state. Arrowhead and Avondale are level 4.Required Clinical Skills amp intubationUmbilical arterial catheter UAC placementUmbilical venous catheter UVC placementLumbar puncture LPChest tube placementPAL peripheral arterial line/stickManagement of critically ill neonates including patients with neurological surgical cardiac and complex multisystem conditionsElectronic Medical Record EMR: Sunrise Clinical Manager Please note: Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 daysAre Temps Available?
