This opportunity places physicians within a well-supported EM environment featuring ultrasound and PACS technology, comprehensive medical staff backup, and a modern Meditech EMR with M-Modal dictation. Providers will work in a dynamic, high-volume ED setting with a focus on quality patient care and collaborative teamwork. Opportunity Highlights Location: Port Charlotte, Florida Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens New position with ongoing coverage potential 20 ED beds Estimated annual volume: 35,000 patients EMR: Meditech P-doc & M-Modal Dictation Ultrasound and fully integrated PACS system in ED No admitting orders written by ED physicians Associated with a main hospital's FSEDs Supportive medical staff backup Ability to work shifts at FSEDs or main hospital Practice Environment This emergency department serves as a vital center for urgent care in a vibrant Florida community. Equipped with advanced ultrasound and PACS technology, physicians practice within a collaborative environment supported by an experienced team and integrated systems designed to enhance efficiency and quality of care. The ED does not require physicians to write admission orders, streamlining patient throughput and focus on acute care.
