Quick Facts Location: Portage, WI Start Date: 09/29/2026 Shift: Days, 6 am – 6:30 pm Duration: Ongoing coverage needs in 2027 Hours/Week: Variable, based on shifts Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Wisconsin Medical License preferred Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide emergency medical care to patients in a busy ED/UC setting. Collaborate with a team of APCs and physicians to deliver timely, effective care. Utilize telehealth services such as Telestroke and Tele ICU to support patient treatment. Manage a varied case load, approximately 40-60 patients over a 24-hour period. Contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Hospitalist services. Support ongoing emergency coverage needs by maintaining high-quality standards. Coordinate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. What You Need Required: Wisconsin Medical License or eligibility to obtain one Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Experience with telehealth services and collaborative hospital systems Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs About the Assignment Join a dynamic team at a leading medical facility in Portage, Wisconsin, providing urgent care and emergency services in a modern, well-supported environment.
