Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Potosi, MO Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 1 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Potosi, Missouri Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity 12-Hour Shifts • ~13K Annual ED Visits • Critical Access Emergency Medicine Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Potosi, Missouri . This is a true rural Emergency Medicine opportunity built around 12-hour physician shifts, approximately 13,000 annual ED visits, and a 10-bed Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital. Importantly, the opportunity is not limited to Emergency Medicine residency-trained physicians . Qualified physicians from accepted Primary Care specialties with substantive Emergency Medicine experience may also be considered. Opportunity Highlights Potosi, Missouri Emergency Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Ongoing Coverage 12-Hour Shifts 24-Hour Physician Coverage Approximately 13,000 Annual ED Visits 10-Bed Emergency Department 29-Bed Critical Access Hospital PowerChart / PowerDocs Broad-spectrum rural Emergency Medicine EM-experienced Primary Care-trained physicians considered Clinical Practice Physicians provide comprehensive Emergency Medicine coverage within a 10-bed ED serving a rural Missouri community. The Emergency Department includes: Trauma room Minor Care Hazmat capability Triage With approximately 13,000 annual ED visits , this environment offers the broad clinical scope and physician responsibility associated with Critical Access Emergency Medicine without the patient volume of a large metropolitan ED. Schedule Coverage is structured around: 12-hour physician shifts 24-hour physician coverage Ongoing locum tenens need Exact scheduling and monthly coverage will be coordinated based on current department needs and physician availability. Training Background Experienced Emergency Medicine physicians from multiple training pathways may be considered. The current opportunity allows consideration of Board Certified/Board Eligible physicians in accepted Primary Care specialties who have relevant Emergency Medicine experience . For Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other qualifying Primary Care-trained physicians, substantive Emergency Medicine experience is required .
